Beeswax

Wax is a 2-3 mm thin membrane formed on the abdomen of young bees. They make their buildings from this, which also contains brood and honey. Beekeepers use it in the largest amount, they provide a wax base for the renewal of combs, from which the bees can make new structures.

Another popular form is the making of candles or wax figures, which are an indispensable accessory for Christmas. It is also used for the surface treatment of wooden furniture, in which case it must be mixed with an odorless solvent to obtain a spreadable consistency.
